Brut Nature Reserva is an organic vintage cava to which no sulphur is added. In fact, it was the first cava to be produced in this way in all of Spain. It is a tribute to a little bird that is a friend of winegrowers, the Bruant, which, by feeding on seeds, fruits and small insects, controls pests and the number of weeds in the vineyard.
Vineyards planted at an altitude of between 150 and 300 metres above sea level and facing southeast. Sauló (sandy loam) Soil. Acidic soil with very low levels of active lime, little organic matter and good drainage.
Mediterranean with continental influences. A vintage marked by drought, both during the growing season and during the harvest.
Organic farming. A harvest with balanced yields, exceptional health and maximum quality.
Base wine is obtained and the “Méthode Traditionelle” is applied immediately before the first fermentation ends. It was spontaneous at low temperature. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle using the ancestral method (natural sugar from the must). It is released to the market without expedition liqueur. Neither sulphites nor any other product are added throughout the process.
Aging for a minimum of 15 months and a maximum of 24.
