Ribera del Duero delivers power — bold, structured Tempranillo with deep fruit, intensity, and the kind of wine that makes you put your glass down and just think for a moment. Rioja is its elegant counterpart: refined, nuanced, beautifully balanced, with layers of red fruit, vanilla, and the unmistakable silkiness that comes from extended barrel ageing.

The good news? You don’t actually have to choose. But you might end up having a very strong opinion by the end of the evening.

We open with a white — because great tastings don’t start where you expect them to. Fresh, crisp, and a lovely way to reset the palate before the big reds arrive.

🥂 Tobelos Rosado — Rioja Alta
Tobelos is one of the most reliable producers in Rioja Alta, and their Garnacha rosado shows why: vibrant, precise, and genuinely delicious. A bridge between the white and the reds to come.

🥂 Le Domaine
Where elegance meets depth. A wine that shows what the best of Spanish winemaking can offer when the winemaker steps back and lets the terroir do the talking.

🥂 Jovellar Tinto
Structure and character in the glass — this one makes the case for the region it represents with conviction. Expect dark fruit, spice, and a long, satisfying finish.

🥂 Roda — Rioja
The headline act. Bodegas Roda is one of Rioja’s great names, and for good reason. Complex, layered, with the signature silkiness of long-aged Rioja at its finest. We may shed a small tear.

RIBERA DEL DUERO vs RIOJA — PRIMERA RONDA 🍷⚔️🍷

Dos de las regiones vinícolas más célebres de España. Dos personalidades completamente distintas. Una noche muy buena para descubrir cuál te conquista más.

Ribera del Duero ofrece potencia: Tempranillo robusto y estructurado, con fruta profunda, intensidad y esa clase de vino que te hace dejar la copa un momento y simplemente pensar. Rioja es su contraparte elegante: refinado, matizado, con un equilibrio sublime, capas de fruta roja, vainilla y esa sedosidad inconfundible que otorgan los largos procesos de crianza en barrica.

La buena noticia es que no tienes que elegir. Aunque puede que termines la noche con una opinión muy contundente.

Empezamos con un blanco, porque las grandes catas nunca comienzan donde uno espera. Fresco, vivo y una forma perfecta de preparar el paladar antes de que lleguen los tintos.

🥂 Tobelos Rosado — Rioja Alta
Tobelos es una de las bodegas más fiables de la Rioja Alta, y su rosado de Garnacha lo demuestra: vibrante, preciso y genuinamente delicioso. El puente perfecto entre el blanco y los tintos que llegan.

🥂 Le Domaine
Donde la elegancia se encuentra con la profundidad. Un vino que demuestra lo que puede ofrecer la vinicultura española cuando el viñedo habla por sí solo.

🥂 Jovellar Tinto
Estructura y carácter en la copa. Este vino defiende su región con convicción: fruta oscura, especias y un final largo y satisfactorio.

🥂 Roda — Rioja
El plato fuerte. Bodegas Roda es uno de los grandes nombres de la Rioja, y por muy buenas razones. Complejo, con capas, y esa sedosidad característica de la Rioja de gran crianza. Es posible que derramemos alguna lágrima.

Over the last 15 years Martha lived in the Southern California wine area and contributed to the creation of numerous wine experiences, such as chocolate wine pairings for some of the biggest wineries of the area. Now living in Moraira, she is in a mission to bring wine lovers together with the wine makers of Alicante in a series of fun, entertaining and educational events.

By completing this booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Consent

You warrant that you are over 18 years old.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

To Conform your booking we require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid before the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 10. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 3 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
