Some people collect shoes. These women collect 90+ point scores. This summer we’re raising a glass to five of the most talented women in Spanish wine — the winemakers, owners and visionaries quietly running some of the country’s finest cellars.

Five women. Five wines. One very good reason to celebrate them.

From Galicia to Ribera del Duero, these are wines made with precision, personality and no small amount of stubborn brilliance — poured in tribute to the women behind them.

🥂 Solo Brut — Cava
An ecological, vegan Cava from Requena — 50% Macabeo, 50% Chardonnay, night-harvested to lock in the aromas. A bright, celebratory start.

🥂 La Fillaboa 1898 — Rías Baixas
The jewel of the Fillaboa estate — an Albariño with the freshness of youth and the elegance of a fine white. Atlantic, saline and seriously good.

🥂 Begoña Jovellar Verdejo — Rueda
100% Verdejo from the heart of Rueda by winemaker Begoña Jovellar — bright citrus, cool-night tension and real finesse.

🥂 Clos Galena — Priorat
A powerful, organically farmed Priorat red, hand-selected from the estate’s finest slate slopes. Depth, mineral grip and quiet authority.

🥂 Alonso del Yerro María — Ribera del Duero
The family’s flagship, named after María del Yerro herself. Made only in the best years from old Tinto Fino — all elegance, poise and quiet class.

YOUR HOST

Martha is in her element for this one — five brilliant women, five brilliant wines, and plenty of opinions to share. She runs the room like a conversation, not a lecture: she’ll want to know which wines speak to you and why, and she’ll ask you to score your favourites and talk through what makes each woman’s style so distinctive. Join in as much or as little as you like; questions are always encouraged.

Martha is a retired diplomat for the Colombian government, having years of experience in the organization and creation of cultural events including the famous annual Latin American Festival in Istanbul. Over the last 15 years Martha lived in the Southern California wine area and contributed to the creation of numerous wine experiences, such as chocolate wine pairings for some of the biggest wineries of the area. Now living in Moraira, she is in a mission to bring wine lovers together with the wine makers of Alicante in a series of fun, entertaining and educational events.

By completing this booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Consent

You warrant that you are over 18 years old.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

To Conform your booking we require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid before the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 10. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 3 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
