Villota Garnacha 2021
After a mild winter and a very dry spring, June began with heavy rainfall, highlighting the hail storm that significantly affected several areas of the vineyard. The summer, of unusual freshness
and notable drought, brought recovery with the good development of the clusters. The September rains, very well received, fattened the grapes without harming their excellent state of health. The unusually long harvest offered grapes of extraordinary quality.
Variety. 100% Garnacha from the Pajera plot, planted in 1979 on the highest terrace of the estate, at the foot of Cerro de la Mesa, shallow, calcareous soil, surrounded by kermes oak vegetation. All this environment and respectful cultivation play a key role in the harmony of Garnacha de Villota.
Manual harvest of the best clusters, which after passing through the selection table in the winery, ferment in tanks seeking to maintain the varietal identity and a smooth extraction. Part of the bleeding of the grapes goes into a 500-liter French oak barrel for 6 months and part remains in tank to preserve
the fruit, until assemble. It was bottled on February 14, 2023.
The best expression of Garnacha in a wine with a lot of personality. Under the rugged slope of Cerro de la Mesa, the old Grenache vines planted in 1979 deserved to be vinified separately.
Very limited production: 2,470 bottles were bottled

| Group Coordinator. | In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full. |
| Deposit | We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event. |
| Changes to Booking | You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event. |
| Refunds | Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking. Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event. |
