The Best of The Best – Vino de Pago Tasting.
Throughout the summer, at Martha’s Vineyard, we have been able to offer over 60 different wines at the weekly tastings’ events. But which ones have been the most popular? And which has been the best so far. The answer seems to be the Vinos de Pago. Not just winning the Battle of the Bubbles last month but always the favourite in any tasting.
To celebrate Pago’s status as wine of the summer – we are offering a tasting of our Pago wines this Friday 23rd September at 6 pm.
We have discovered a lot of the terminology used in the labels of the Spanish wines, to understand their classifications and denominations of origin.
But although we have tasted some great “do Pago” wines, we have not dived into the meaning of the classification.
- Come and discover the top classification in the pyramid of Spanish wines.
- Learn to identify what makes this denomination especial and the regions and grape varieties included in it.
We are excited to share one of our favourite CAVAs, a Rosé, a white and two red wines from do Pago. In the meantime, you will learn to understand why are they so exclusive, what makes their quality unique; the soil of the vines where the grapes are produced; the methods and the conditions to be “do Pago”.
Come and taste this amazing wine denomination from Spain!
