The  Flagship of Bodegas Arzuaga

RIBERA DEL DUERO

The Tempranillo variety with which this wine is made belongs 70% to the La Maquinilla vineyard, the oldest on their “La Planta Estate”; cultivated at 911 meters of altitude in clay-calcareous soils, with the limestone bedrock one meter from the surface, along with 30% of grapes from century-old vineyards with pebble and sandy soils, in the area of the province of Burgos

Made with Tempranillo, Cabernet and/or Merlot in different proportions depending on the vintage. For this particular vintage 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot .

Aged 16 months in french oak barrels and american oak.

  • Cherry red with violet hues, clean and bright.
  • nose_line Subtle with high aromatic diversity. Ripe red and black fruits predominate with spicy touches and balsamic notes. Torrefied finish.
  • Voluminous, it provides soft and honeyed sensations that last over time. It is a faithful memory of that complex nose with well-kept fruit and roasted and spicy notes typical of the wood.

Meet The Winemaker

Bodegas Arzuaga
Acquired by Florentino Arzuaga in 1980, it has an ecosystem made up of more than 300 deer, 400 wild boar, mouflon and other species. During the harvest, which takes place between the months of September and October, the grapes are collected in 15 kilo boxes, thus avoiding the breakage of the grains and the subsequent premature fermentations. Destemming and subsequent fermentation in stainless steel tanks complete this production process that continues when the wine goes into the barrel, producing the union of the fruity aromas of the grapes with the smoky and spicy touches of the oak. Arzuaga Navarro has, in addition to the honor of being one of the first wineries in the D.O. Ribera del Duero to reach one million bottles of production, the recognition of being a pioneer in the world of wine tourism in Spain, something that it began to develop in the second half of the 90s. Currently, it has in the same facilities the winery of a five-star hotel with a very complete spa and wine therapy offer.

By completing this booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Consent

You warrant that you are over 18 years old.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
