In the province of Burgos, Gumiel de Mercado is located, a municipality located in a privileged enclave within the Ribera del Duero and has always been a town with a marked wine-growing tradition. Its structure is medieval and in the center of the town, there is a hill where our ancestors excavated underground cellars to preserve their wines.
We currently have 65 hectares, of which we mostly grow the characteristic variety of Denomination of Origin: Tempranillo, and to a lesser extent 2 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, 1 hectare of Merlot and 1 hectare of Albillo.
We are committed to respecting the land and working the vine in a traditional way, continuing with the way of working that we learned from that first generation. The main objective is to follow sustainable viticulture, a true reflection of quality wines.
In 2003 the construction of our Winery began. A space equipped with the latest technical advances, but above all it was designed to fully respect our treasure: our grapes.
All manufacturing work is carried out using gravity, minimizing damage to the raw material.
We have an aging warehouse with 600 barrels, of which 80% are French oak and the rest American oak, where our wines grow for the time necessary to give them structure, without losing their identity.
HARVEST: Manual in 16 kg boxes and subsequent selection table.
AGEING IN BARRELS: 12 months.
HEIGHT: 934 meters above sea level.
AGE OF THE VINEYARD: 20 years.
ANNUAL PRODUCTION: 1200 Bottles.

Group Coordinator. | In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full. |
Deposit | We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event. |
Changes to Booking | You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event. |
Refunds | Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking. Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event. |
