About The Wine

Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera has received one of the most important awards in its history, with a recognition that had never been achieved before. Cueva del Chamán Rosado Syrah has won the Grand Gold medal at the Brussels World Wine Competition in this 2023 edition, placing it among the 14 best rosé wines in the world.

Cueva del Chamán Rosado Syrah is thus placed at the top of the competition results in the rosé wine session, being one of the only three wines from Spain that have achieved a Grand Gold in this edition. On this occasion, the jury of professionals from the Brussels World Wine Competition evaluated a total of 1,150 wine samples from wineries around the world, among which was our wine, made from a 100% Syrah grape variety.

Furthermore, it is also history for the Almansa Denomination of Origin, since it is the second time since this competition has existed in which one of the DO Almansa wines achieves this maximum recognition of Gran Oro. We can only congratulate all the team of professionals from Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera after this award, a fact that reinforces the great work that is being done throughout the year in the winery and that is bringing international recognition like this one.

Bodegas Santa Cruz de Alpera was founded in 1947 by 25 winegrowers from the municipality of Alpera, with the aim of defending the viability of their vineyards and wine farms. It is in these years when the winery begins its journey in wine production which leads them to the present, in their wines are desired around the world.

Terms and Conditions - Private Events

Terms and Conditions

By completing this booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
