This beautiful and interesting parcel of Malvasía was found in the midst of the 2012 harvest, hidden between the bush-grown Monastrell vineyards of Fontanares, Valencia. With the second cuvée 2013 we blended a little Viognier to give a touch of crispness, brightness and more depth to the wine. The Malvasia varietal is indigenous to the region of Valencia, while the Viognier was planted 25 years ago. The latter has adapted gloriously to the sun and heat of the region.
Half of the wine is fermented and aged in 500 liter barrels for 4 months and the other 50% of the wine is fermented and aged on its own lees in a stainless steel tank.
A small winery located in the southeast of Valencia (Ontinyent-Fontanars).
Their philosophy is based on minimal intervention in all winery processes: trying to reach the maturity of the grapes to subsequently preserve their purity and potential as much as possible, trying to simplify all aging processes to prolong the youth of their wines. The Bodega belongs to the family of “Garage Wineries” looking for personal, elegant and structured wines.
Vineyards located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. The soil is mainly limestone.
Manual harvesting in 15 kilogram boxes.
Vinification starts with the maceration with the skins for one day and subsequent gentle pressing in a pneumatic press.

| Group Coordinator. | In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full. |
| Deposit | We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event. |
| Changes to Booking | You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event. |
| Refunds | Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking. Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event. |
