About this wine

Halfway between a Ruby and a Vintage, this style of port offers all its splendor without having to wait for years of evolution in the bottle. It seduces with its notes of wild fruit, fig and spices and its elegance. LBV is a category of Port Wine that became popular in the 60s of the last century and that came to fill the gap that existed between Rubí and Vintage Port. It can be drunk young, right after bottling.

Meet the winemaker

Niepoort

Niepoort was founded in 1842 by the Dutchman Eduard Kebe. In 1858, coinciding with his death, his name was changed to Niepoort. Niepoort's current ideologist, Dirk Van Der Niepoort, started working at the winery in 1987. The obsession of this company has been to combine tradition and modernity with the same energies.
