Numanthia is an intense, firm and persistent red that demonstrates, vintage after vintage, the enormous quality of Tinta de Toro in such emblematic sites as Valdefinjas and Morales de Toro. The 2018 vintage leaves aromas of red berries, scrubland and memories of spices and graphite with a gentle palate and a sweet touch thanks to dreamy tannins. Very voluminous. It is in its own right, one of the reds that is always among the most sought after in the D.O. Toro

To make this wine, clusters are hand-picked from more than 100 different plots to create the blend that showcases the best of Toro’s eight different types of terroir.
The vineyards are located in Valdefinjas, Morales de Toro, Toro and Venialbo, with a south-southwest orientation and located at an average altitude of 700 meters. Vines from 50 to more than 120 years.
A sandy loam soil, with a continental with Atlantic influence climate; with a performance
1,800 kilograms per hectare.
Organic and dry farming. Exclusively manual harvesting, with rigorous selection of clusters, both in the vineyard and in the winery, in perfect health and at their optimal moment of maturity.
Traditional preparation for vilification. 100% destemmed. Cold maceration for 4 days. Alcoholic fermentation for 7 days with daily pumping over. Post-fermentation maceration with skins and light treading after fermentation. Controlled temperature between 26 and 28 ºC. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Aging for 18 months in new French oak barrels of 225 and 400 liters (60% new barrel and 40% second-use barrel). Racking every 4 months.

| Group Coordinator. | In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full. |
| Deposit | We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event. |
| Changes to Booking | You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event. |
| Refunds | Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking. Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event. |
