About The Wine

Carmelo Rodero belongs to a long line of winegrowers from the riverside town of Pedrosa de Duero. His childhood was spent among vineyards and wineries and his first memories evoke his grandparents making wine in the traditional way. A new generation has joined this exciting project, Beatriz and María, the two daughters of Carmelo and Elena. They have inherited the passion of their parents.

The excellence of the wines finds its maximum expression in the Pago de Valtarreña wine, a wine gem masterfully produced by the renowned Carmelo Rodero Winery. This red wine with D.O. Ribera del Duero, 2019 harvest, stands out for its authenticity and distinctive character. Made exclusively from the Tempranillo grape, it is a true testament to the winery’s passion and dedication towards creating exceptional wines.

The vegetative cycle began with the mildness of rainy winters. Rainfall marked this new vintage in which budbreak was early but the course of its development was balanced, resulting in a great harvest of exceptional quality.
100% Tempranillo variety from Pago de Valtarreña, with clay soils and fresh sands. Gravity fermentation in rotary system. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.
Ageing for 24 months in French oak.

Terms and Conditions - Private Events

Terms and Conditions

By completing this booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
