There’s no place like home. That unrivalled feeling of peace and tranquillity that we get when we return to our favourite place in the world is what motivated Gabriel Pérez to create a wine that reflects his love for his hometown, Quel. That’s why this Mi Lugar is the result of a meticulous selection of plots, bunches and grapes of Tempranillo and Garnacha. Pure silkiness and elegance that make us want to visit this Riojan town, but that for now we can appreciate through our senses.
Selection of plots in the Sierra de Yerga, all of them at more than 600 metres above sea level. Vines of around 40 years old.
Planted in poor soils.
A vintage characterized by being one of the longest harvests in the history of Rioja. The abundant rainfall recorded during the winter and spring of 2018 led to an excellent situation for the vineyard during the first months of the cycle. In the second half of July the rains stopped giving way to warm and dry weather.
A triple selection is carried out, the first in the vineyards, another of the bunches when they arrive at the winery and the last, after destemming, of each of the grapes. Subsequent pre-fermentation maceration for 5 days and fermentation for more than 18 days at a constant temperature of between 22 and 26 ºC. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels.
Aging for 18 months in oak barrels, 20% American and 80% French. It then remains in vats for another 6 months to finish refining.

| Group Coordinator. | In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full. |
| Deposit | We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event. |
| Changes to Booking | You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event. |
| Refunds | Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking. Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event. |
