The term Black Friday dates back to the early 1960s, when police officers in Philadelphia began using the phrase “Black Friday” to describe the chaos that resulted when large numbers of suburban tourists came into the city to begin their holiday shopping!  

For us at Martha’s Vineyard it is the day that marks the beginning of the holiday season and gives us the chance to offer you a unique “Luxurious Experience” of the best wines and tapas by Samar’s head chef – Fernando.

We want to offer the best wines selected by Martha so you can taste them and discover the classy vintages for the season. We want to help you start your Christmas and Holiday shopping  just as the season starts.  But this tasting gives the chance to taste the wines in the gift boxes first!

There will be a beautiful glass of cava prior to the tasting (on us) while you become familiar with our Holiday wine choices, which you can purchase and  gift smiles and happy moments to your dear ones. We will be offering big discounts, so you can stock your home cellars for the season All our wines will be wrapped and ready for delivery !

The Gift Box retails for €86,30 and for this tasting only is avalaible for €64.75

Over the last 15 years Martha lived in the Southern California wine area and contributed to the creation of numerous wine experiences, such as chocolate wine pairings for some of the biggest wineries of the area. Now living in Moraira, she is in a mission to bring wine lovers together with the wine makers of Alicante in a series of fun, entertaining and educational events.

Terms and Conditions

By completing this booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Consent

You warrant that you are over 18 years old.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
