✨ Discover the Secrets of Spain’s Lesser-Known Wine Regions ✨
Spain is home to some of the world’s most famous wines, but beyond Rioja and Ribera del Duero lie hidden treasures waiting to be explored. Join us for a tasting adventure through Spain’s most exciting undiscovered wine regions, where unique terroirs and indigenous grapes create extraordinary wines.
🍷 What to Expect:
– 🍇 Taste five exceptional wines from regions like Bierzo, Jumilla, and Txakoli, where ancient traditions meet modern winemaking.
– 🏺 Discover native grape varieties such as Mencía, Monastrell, and Hondarrabi Zuri, each with its own fascinating story and distinctive flavors.
– 🗺️ Learn about Spain’s hidden wine gems from our expert sommelier, who will guide you through the history, culture, and tasting notes of each bottle.
Why Explore Small-Batch and Undiscovered Wines?
🍇 Authenticity and Artistry: Small-batch winemakers focus on quality over quantity, allowing them to craft wines that truly express their unique terroir and grape varieties. This hands-on approach results in authentic wines with distinct character.
🌿 Sustainability: Many small producers employ organic or biodynamic farming practices, reducing chemical intervention and preserving the environment.
🌍 Cultural Discovery: Tasting these wines provides insight into the rich heritage and traditions of lesser-known wine regions, offering a deeper connection to the places and people behind the bottles.
The Spanish Advantage
Spain’s undiscovered wine regions offer exceptional quality at more accessible price points compared to other renowned wine regions. For example:
– 🍷 France: Fine wines from prestigious regions like Bordeaux or Burgundy can command high prices, often exceeding $100 per bottle.
– 🍷 California: Boutique Napa Valley wines frequently start at $50 and can escalate to several hundred dollars.
In contrast, Spain’s lesser-known regions produce high-quality wines that remain affordable, allowing wine enthusiasts to explore diverse flavors without breaking the bank.
Wines We Will Taste:
✨ Azabache Sparkling White Tempranillo – A rare, elegant sparkling wine made from Spain’s beloved Tempranillo grape.
✨ Hika – A fresh and vibrant Txakoli, the pride of the Basque Country.
✨ Abad Dom Bueno Rosé – A beautiful expression of Mencía from Bierzo, offering bright fruit and floral notes.
✨ Enemigo Mio – A bold and juicy Monastrell from Jumilla, bursting with Mediterranean character.
✨ Anibal Otero – A stunning wine from Galicia, showcasing the region’s unique winemaking heritage.
