Summer in Moraira asks for wines with a little swagger — and this week we’re pouring single-estate stars that know exactly how good they are. No hiding in the blend here. Every one of these comes from its own patch of ground, with its own postcode and plenty to say for itself.

We’ve built a lineup for long, golden evenings: a rosé that’s all blush and no shyness, bright whites with a cool coastal accent, and a couple of quietly confident bottles you’ll be plotting to take home before the ice has melted. Think terraces, sunsets, and that first chilled sip that makes the whole day worth it.

Five wines, a few good stories, exactly zero snobbery — and almost certainly one “ooh, I’d never have picked that one” moment. Bring a friend, bring your curiosity, leave the wine-bore at home.

JOYAS DE PAGO PARA EL VERANO

El verano en Moraira pide vinos con un poco de carácter — y esta semana descorchamos joyas de pago que saben perfectamente lo buenas que son. Aquí nadie se esconde en la mezcla: cada vino viene de su propia tierra, con su propio apellido y mucho que contar.

Hemos preparado una selección para esas tardes largas y doradas: un rosado sin complejos, blancos frescos con acento de costa, y un par de botellas discretas pero seguras de sí mismas que querrás llevarte a casa antes de que se derrita el hielo. Terrazas, atardeceres y ese primer sorbo bien frío que justifica el día entero.

Cinco vinos, unas cuantas buenas historias, cero esnobismo — y casi seguro un momento de “anda, nunca habría elegido ese“. Trae a alguien, trae tu curiosidad y deja al sabelotodo del vino en casa.

Martha is a retired diplomat for the Colombian government, having years of experience in the organization and creation of cultural events including the famous annual Latin American Festival in Istanbul. Over the last 15 years Martha lived in the Southern California wine area and contributed to the creation of numerous wine experiences, such as chocolate wine pairings for some of the biggest wineries of the area. Now living in Moraira, she is in a mission to bring wine lovers together with the wine makers of Alicante in a series of fun, entertaining and educational events.

By completing this booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Consent

You warrant that you are over 18 years old.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

To Conform your booking we require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid before the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 10. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 3 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
