Join Maribel Cots, artist and art therapy facilitator, for a unique creative experience where the worlds of painting and wine come together as expressions of art.


Just as each brushstroke tells a story on canvas, each sip of wine reflects the artistry of the winemaker—the land, the climate, the hands that crafted it. During this special Sip & Paint, participants will be guided through a relaxed creative process while savoring a curated wine tasting.


Maribel’s workshops are more than learning techniques; they are spaces to reconnect with intuition, embrace spontaneity, and rediscover the joy of free expression. The act of painting—like wine tasting—is a journey through color, texture, sensation, and emotion.


As the wine awakens the senses, the brush invites play, exploration, and presence. It’s an invitation to let go of expectations, enjoy the beauty of imperfection, and celebrate the creative process—both in the glass and on the canvas.


No painting experience needed. Just bring curiosity, an open heart, and a taste for creativity.

My name is Maribel Cots, and I am a facilitator of art and art therapy workshops. I also teach art therapy workshops with horses. I guide creative processes that not only focus on learning painting techniques, but also create spaces for free expression and reconnecting with emotions and intuition. I believe in art as a way to come home, to let go of demands, and discover beauty in spontaneity and within oneself. I teach workshops where you can connect with yourself and others through color, strokes, play, and silence.I am moved by what is authentic, emotional, and comes from the heart. And I am passionate about sharing it with others in places where life is celebrated.

Martha is a retired diplomat for the Colombian government, having years of experience in the organization and creation of cultural events including the famous annual Latin American Festival in Istanbul. Over the last 15 years Martha lived in the Southern California wine area and contributed to the creation of numerous wine experiences, such as chocolate wine pairings for some of the biggest wineries of the area. Now living in Moraira, she is in a mission to bring wine lovers together with the wine makers of Alicante in a series of fun, entertaining and educational events.

You warrant that you are over 18 years old.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

To Conform your booking we require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid before the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 10. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 3 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
