Ready to swirl, sniff, nibble, and fall completely head over heels? Because this isn’t just another tasting — it’s a full celebration of Spain’s finest wines getting cosy with some of the country’s most outstanding artisan cheeses.

Five wines. Five cheeses. Zero boring pairings.

We’ve mapped out an evening that takes you from the sparkling vineyards of Valencia all the way to the big, bold vines of Toro — with stops in Galicia, Rioja and Ribera del Duero along the way. And at every stop, a gorgeous Spanish artisan cheese waiting to say “hola, I think we were made for each other.”

🥂 Pago de Tharsys Único + XIros (Alicante)
Valencia’s finest in a glass, paired with a local cheese that knows exactly where it comes from. The perfect opening act.

🍾 Abalón Godello — Isabel Salgado, SIAH + Tizne
The Godello grape is having its big moment in the sun, and when Isabel Salgado gets her hands on it, you understand exactly why. Tizne brings a smoky edge to the dance. They get on famously.

🌹 Tobelos Rosado Rioja + Abuelo Artisan Cheese
Don’t underestimate a good rosado. This one from Rioja is fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delighted to meet Abuelo’s handcrafted charm.

🍷 Avan Ribera del Duero + Cured Manchego
Here’s where things get deliciously serious. Ribera Tempranillo with aged Manchego is one of Spain’s great romances. We may shed a small tear.

🔥 El Primer Paso, Toro + Truffle Cured Manchego
We saved the boldest for last. A powerhouse Toro red deserves only one thing — Manchego laced with truffle. The finale you came for.

Martha Ardila has been matching wines with everything — cheese, food, people, good moods — for more years than she’d care to count. She’ll guide you through every pairing with warmth, stories and absolutely zero pretension. Questions are encouraged. Spitting is entirely optional.

Martha is a retired diplomat for the Colombian government, having years of experience in the organization and creation of cultural events including the famous annual Latin American Festival in Istanbul. Over the last 15 years Martha lived in the Southern California wine area and contributed to the creation of numerous wine experiences, such as chocolate wine pairings for some of the biggest wineries of the area. Now living in Moraira, she is in a mission to bring wine lovers together with the wine makers of Alicante in a series of fun, entertaining and educational events.

By completing this booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Consent

You warrant that you are over 18 years old.

Group Coordinator.

In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full.

Deposit

To Conform your booking we require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid before the event.

Changes to Booking

You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 10. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event.

Refunds

Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking.
Up to 14 days prior to the Event – 100% refund
Up To 7 days prior to the Event – 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior to the Event – no refund.

Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 3 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event.
