Gregory Pérez’s most affordable white is fruity and easy to drink, but also a wine that shows all the character and typicity of Godello, a variety that dominates the blend. Originally there are small plots of different soils located in Carracedo, Valtuille, Villafranca del Bierzo and Espanillo. A different white yet suitable for all types of palates and pockets.
The Godello comes from small plots located in Carracedo, Valtuille and Villafranca del Bierzo, while Doña Blanca has its origins in glass vines grown in Espanillo, Valtuille and Carracedo.
The vines are an average age of 20 years for Godello and old vineyards for Doña Blanca.
The different locations of the vineyard bring with them different types of soil. Thus we find firm clay-limestone in Valtuille and Villafranca, stony in Carracedo and slate in Espanillo.
Continental climate with Atlantic influence.
Manual harvest in boxes. The selected grapes pass through the pneumatic press, the must ferments at low temperature in stainless steel tanks.
Light clarification and filtering before bottling.
The young 2022 Brezo Godello has some 10% Doña Blanca. It has moderate alcohol for a warm year (12.5%) and very good parameters of freshness and acidity. Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and was kept with the lees that were not stirred until bottling. It’s pale and fruit-driven with notes of apples, pears, apricots and white flowers. It has a light palate with clean flavors and a balanced mouthfeel. 42,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2023

| Group Coordinator. | In order to book your event we require a single coordinator of your group. As the Group Coordinator you are responsible for all communications with Martha’s Vineyard. You ensure that all group members are at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for the payment of any deposit and final payment at the event. The final payment may be split between members of your group but you take sole responsibility that the final payment is completed in full. |
| Deposit | We may require a 50% deposit of the total payable amount for your event. The balance must be paid at the event. |
| Changes to Booking | You may make changes to the number of guests in your party prior to the event provided that you do not fall below the minimum acceptable group count of 6. You must inform Martha’s Vineyard of your requested changes and receive confirmation that the changes are acceptable. Please note: You will not be able to remove guests from your party within 5 days of the event. You may add guests to your event up until 2 days prior to your event. |
| Refunds | Once you have completed your booking you may request a refund of any deposit if you cancel your booking. Please note that if you wish to cancel the booking entirely or in part less than 4 days prior to the event you will be required to pay the full price of the event. As group coordinator you are solely responsible to complete this payment on or before the date of the event. |
