A Spring Wine Tasting at Martha’s Vineyard
Wine is fun.
Even more fun when we drink it together. 🥂
This spring, join us at Martha’s Vineyard for a tasting dedicated to Spain’s indigenous grape varieties—a delicious excuse to gather, sip, chat, laugh, compare notes, and maybe discover a few new favourites along the way.
Because that’s the thing about wine: yes, it can be serious, fascinating and full of stories… but at its heart, it’s a social pleasure. A bottle opened with other people nearly always tastes better. And somewhere between the first glass and the final pour, you start to work out what you actually like—and often, why. 🍇
This tasting is all about that.
Not stuffy. Not intimidating. Just a relaxed, guided evening of really good Spanish wine.
You’ll taste your way through a line-up of fresh whites, lively rosé and elegant reds that feel just right for the season.
Along the way, you’ll also pick up a few genuinely useful wine tricks: how to spot a good bottle on a restaurant list, what clues to look for on a label, which grapes are worth remembering, and why some wines just make you want another sip. 🍷✨
🍃 What’s in the Glass
A spring-ready tour of Spain’s diverse wine regions, from cool coastal vineyards to warm inland hillsides, all through the grapes that give Spanish wine its character.
🍷 Crisp & Fresh Whites, Rosé and Tintos for the Season
Rías Baixas – Albariño
Pazo Señorans
Fresh, citrusy, textured and just a little bit salty in the best possible way. A benchmark Albariño and a perfect way to start. 🌊
Rueda – Verdejo
Pandora
Zippy, aromatic and full of lift, with that lovely Verdejo mix of freshness and gentle herbal character. 💚
Navarra – Rosado
Dry, vibrant and made for spring. The sort of rosé that reminds you Spain really knows what it’s doing. 🌸
Priorat – Garnacha Tintorera
Les Crestes
A deeper, moodier glass with plenty of personality—dark fruit, spice and just enough swagger. 🔥
Rioja – LAN
Smooth, elegant and reassuringly delicious. A classic for a reason. 🍒
🥂 Why Come?
Because drinking wine with other people is one of life’s great pleasures.
Come for the fun of it. Come because you love wine. Come because you’re not quite sure what you love yet and would like to find out. Come because you always order the same thing in restaurants and suspect it’s time to branch out.
Come because you’d quite like to know how to spot something good on a wine list without panicking and pointing blindly at the second cheapest bottle. 😉
You’ll leave having had a lovely time, tasted some superb wines, and probably learned a little without it ever feeling like homework.
👋 Who’s It For?
People who love wine.
People who want to love wine more.
People who want a sociable evening out.
And people who want to feel just a bit cleverer next time someone hands them a restaurant wine list. 🍾
